Friday night the show was in the amphitheater that holds about 1000. A delicious buffet dinner was provided with libations to wash it all down. The Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach is landscaped in tropical plants reminiscent of Hawaii, nestled in Newport Bay, it is a prominent bedroom community in the southern Los Angeles area of California. The weather is usually foggy in the mornings, with clearing and warming in the afternoons. It can get very warm in the sun! Again in the evening, the fog can roll in bringing with it cold and windy conditions. We lucked out this year! The fog cleared early in the day and did come in Sunday evening, but for most of the festival, the weather was sunny, in the 70s. The attendees were well prepared with hats and layered clothing.
We watched a long sound check on Friday afternoon and enjoyed the polished version in the evening. This trio interconnects well and complements each others' styles.

Saturday the show started at 11:30 and continued until 8PM. The fog lifted early and the sun was warm. The music started on the main stage and moved to the lawn stage between artists. We estimate around 4000 people attended Saturday's show. VIP seats were available in front of the stage or geberal admission- bring your own seat or blanket. Venders supplied a variety of tasty food and beverages.
